The Beginning of Bar Code Integrators, Inc.
Founded in 1992 in Chicago, Bar Code Integrators (BCI) began with President Tony Schultz and one client—Abbott Laboratories. Early success delivering barcode and wireless data collection solutions established BCI’s reputation for technical expertise and measurable results. Abbott remains a valued client and has referred numerous organizations to BCI over three decades.
Today, BCI is a team of experienced engineers, sales professionals, and project managers with over 100 years of combined expertise in barcode systems, RFID technology, and enterprise mobility solutions. We’ve successfully implemented supply chain automation and warehouse management systems for Fortune 100 companies across pharmaceutical, chemical, manufacturing, and distribution industries.
The Development of Warehouse Vision
In 1995, W.W. Grainger partnered with BCI, driving development of WarehouseVision—our proprietary warehouse slotting and optimization software. Designed to automate inventory slotting, profiling, and maintenance, WarehouseVision evolved into a robust enterprise-scale warehouse management solution.
